On the morning of February 24th 2020, a fire broke out in La Chupaflor that forced Maria Empanada, Palenque Mezcaleria and the Adelitas on South Broadway to close temporarily. In spite of 2020 being a wild year for us, we continue to stay positive.

We would also like to issue a special shout out to the men and women of Denver Firehouse 16! These are the heroes who helped us so unselfishly through the fire in February. These are the people who we love to call friends and are so glad to have gotten the chance to get to know them better. We have sent our appreciation in the form of our famous tacos with SERVPRO Denver East & Southwest and we hope everyone at the station enjoyed! You all deserve it.
